Everything stored under sdmc/Nintendo 3DS/ / is encrypted by 128 bit AES-CTR with console-unique keyslots. The 3DS uses an SD Card for general storage of game data, music, photos and videos taken with the 3DS. At this point, you’ll have to put FBI/Freeshop/whatever back on, and install the titles that you need. Yes, the transfer doesn’t actually modify your SD card, so when you do the transfer and it asks you to move them, just copy them to your PC, and then to the new SD card. You have to properly decrypt them first before you can run them on Citra emulator. ĬIA ROMs which are the default file type supported by the actual handheld 3DS console. ![]() The more challenging part is, Citra can’t run.
